We’re honored to share that Scroggs Construction Services has been named a Silver Winner in the Home Builder category of the 2025 Best of Asheville awards, presented by Asheville Media Group. This recognition places us among Western North Carolina’s most trusted names in custom home construction, alongside fellow members of the National Association of Home Builders, celebrating our team’s commitment to craftsmanship, communication, and client care.
The Best of Asheville awards highlight the companies area residents know and trust most. This year, more than 1,300 businesses were nominated across 247 categories, with winners chosen entirely by community vote. For our team, and especially for co-owner Nick Scroggs, who grew up in Swannanoa, the honor holds deep meaning.
“We’ve always believed the best marketing is doing right by people,” Nick says. “When you focus on clear communication, quality work, and strong relationships, the reputation takes care of itself.”
As a family-owned design-build firm in Asheville, Scroggs Construction Services oversees every stage of a project with precision and care. Whether we’re building a custom mountain home in Black Mountain or reimagining a kitchen in Arden, our process is rooted in collaboration, trust, and a genuine understanding of how each client lives in their space.
“Our clients put a lot of trust in us, and we never take that lightly,” Nick says. “Good construction starts with listening well, communicating clearly, and always putting the homeowner first.”
To every homeowner who voted for us and continues to trust us with their most important investment—thank you. Your support means the world to our team.
