A Complex Need

When homeowner Bob Jones needed a safe way for his wife to move between the three levels of their log cabin in the Horse Shoe area of Henderson County, he turned to Scroggs Construction Services. Having hired Scroggs for a previous project, Bob knew he could rely on us once again.

Designing the Perfect Fit

Our design team, which includes a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist, proposed a state-of-the-art air-powered elevator—both functional and stylish. Installing it, however, was no simple task. The cabin’s layout offered narrow clearances, and every adjustment had to account for heavy structural beams and existing utilities. Even the smallest misstep could compromise the design.

“The elevator project had extremely tight tolerances and needed precision above all else,” Bob explains.

Fortunately, we have extensive experience with complex projects. By collaborating closely with the elevator manufacturer and carefully coordinating the plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work, we seamlessly integrated the system into the home.
